Mayor Making 2018

Tuesday May 15th 2018 saw the Mayor Making Ceremony for Portsmouth's New Lord Mayor Cllr Lee Mason.

The images below are of Duisburg's Portsmouth Freunde who came for the Mayor Making event and of Herr Sören Link Duisburg's Oberbürgemeister and his assistant Frau Janine Schmidt accompanied by Herr Björn Gehre and Herr Oliver Tittmann of Duisburg's Fire Service.

This young man has made it his aim to visit every fire station in the UK. He has also visited some fire stations in Caen our French twin city. He jumped at the opportunity to be photographed with the two German Firefighters from Duisburg on Portsmouth's Guildhall steps.
