Weihnachten in Duisburg

I was lucky enough to be able to arrange to fly to Düsseldorf from Southampton Airport and take the short train journey up to Duisburg on what in Germany is St Nicholas' Day.
The photos below are of Duisburg, the currently under redevelopment Portsmouthplatz right outside the main railway station into the city and of course the Weihnachtsmarkt in the city centre.
